Since launching in 2025, Hardy Films has been developing a slate of documentary series, single films, and feature documentaries, including funded development projects with BBC Specialist Factual and BBC Storyville. The company is founded on an ethos of compassion and curiosity, with a commitment to uplifting the stories of people and communities who are often overlooked. Our films are primarily documentaries built around hard-won access to institutions and sensitive subject areas. The team brings experience from previously creating BAFTA, RTS, and WFTV award-winning films exploring subjects including the legal system, disability, and war zones, among other complex and challenging themes.
